Kayla discovered the path of yoga in 2011 while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Maryland. After graduating, she moved to India to study under an Ayurvedic doctor and was soon called to complete her 200-hour teacher training under Trimurti Yoga School in South Goa. As she witnessed her own transformation, she was inspired to share this healing with others. Kayla believes that yoga is the journey home to the self and wishes to walk with her students on a path toward recognizing their inner truth and attaining self-love. Her teachings are rooted in the healing energy of nature and breath and in creating space for our bodies and minds to heal. Her classes join together creative, meditative flows that cultivate self-expression with the traditional principles and alignments she learned from her teachers in India. She has also trained in Reiki and CranioSacral Therapy and is currently pursuing her naturopathic medical degree at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe.
