My experience with yoga began in 2014 in a neighborhood studio; over the course of two years, this evolved from a casual relationship with practice that became a quest for a studio offering more than the promise of a perfect physique and health. I sought a community, a studio that would nurture and guide me. When I discovered Yoga Nirvana, I knew this was the place. It felt like coming home.
Inspired, I joined the yoga teacher training program at Yoga Nirvana, and am proud to have completed it in 2017. Through my journey as a yoga teacher, I dived deeply into mediation. I continued my education and received a certificate for Yoga Nidra. Incorporating a Hatha style yoga, and guiding my students through a meditation. I hope as a teacher that I can assist my students find peace in their mind, body, and spirit, and deepen their mediation practice. Recently, I sought a different kind of yoga called Karma Yoga. This is a new club to the studio too! I hope to support those in their self-discovery through yoga!
